Carlos is a Master Technologist within HP IT. He serves as a coach and mentor in the adoption of agile methods and techniques. He has 12 years of industry experience in software development including three years with HP. Carlos is a recognized published author at recognized software magazines such Agile Journal, InfoQ and RadarTI and speaker at Agile conferences. He is currently writing a book entitled “Simple Software Development with Agile”
He designed and participated in the creation of the architecture to migrate HP Customer Care Page Suggestions that provides support pages via key Web 2.0 functionality into hp.com.
Lead the technical development and implementation of the publishing tool that delivers 30% of hp.com content .
Lead developer for the construction of a series of “code based assets” that gathers best practices for distributed layering development.
He served a variety of roles including Scrum Master, architect, and tech lead for 7 agile projects and 5 agile transformation engagements.
Routinely serves as an agile coach and mentor to other internal teams on the topic of agile engineering practices, and delivered four internal seminars within HP.
